Consumer cannabidiol
Consumer cannabidiol products are CBD products that can purchased over the counter in high-street stores and from online retailers.
The term ‘consumer cannabidiol’ is used by the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs to refer to CBD products that are not licenced medicines and instead are sold commercially to promote wellbeing. Consumer cannabidiol is available in many different forms including food supplements, drinks, cosmetics, oils and vaping liquids.
